Day 1 :

Fathala Safari and Toubacouta Village

6:00–6:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the city.
Ferry Crossing: Drive to Banjul and take the ferry to Barra on the North Bank.
Border Formalities: Proceed to the Gambia-Senegal border for customs clearance.
Fathala Wildlife Reserve:
- Safari Game Drive: Enjoy a 2-hour drive to see diverse wildlife such as zebras, rhinos, giraffes, antelopes, buffalos, and monkeys in their natural habitat.
- Lion Walk: A 45-minute guided walk alongside lions, ensuring safety and an unforgettable experience.
Drive to Toubacouta:
- Check in at your hotel and have lunch.
- Explore the nearby Toubacouta Village, visiting settlements and engaging with local traditions.
Dinner and Overnight Stay: Keur Saloum Hotel, overlooking the stunning Saloum River.

Day 2 :

Saloum Delta and Kunta Kinteh Island

Saloum River Boat Ride:

Day 3 :

Drive to the Wassu Stone Circles, an ancient burial site and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue to Kuntaur, where you board a boat for a River Gambia National Park Cruise:
- Spot hippos, chimpanzees, crocodiles, and other wildlife.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard as you take in the stunning views.
Disembark and head to JJB Camp for dinner and overnight stay in the tranquil upcountry setting.

Day 4 :

JJB Island Settlement and Bintang Creek

Morning: Breakfast at JJB Camp.
Visit the JJB Island Settlement, where you will explore:
- The Freedom Flag Pole, symbolizing colonial resistance.
- The local market, vibrant with cultural and artisanal offerings.
Drive to Bintang or AbCa’s Creek Lodge for lunch.

Day 5 :

Bitta Village and Return

Morning: Breakfast at the lodge.
Visit Bitta Village, engaging in:
- Daily life activities of locals, including farming, cooking, and crafts.
- Viewing ancient trees, significant in traditional ceremonies and folklore.
- Enjoy a traditional lunch, freshly prepared by the locals.
Depart for Banjul, cross the ferry back to the city, and return to your hotel.
